Down's Syndrome results

Just got results and have been classified as screen negative with 1/540 chance of Down's, 1/50000 Edwards, 1/17000 Patau

Obviously I'm low risk but I keep reading about others having 1/10000 or 1/5000 chance of Down's

Are these the same statistics with me not being the lowest risk?

It might seem high... but I had a risk of 1 in 5 twice. Both times had an amnio and both times it was clear.

Try not to worry as those are v high numbers.

I had a 1/71 chance with DS2, had an amniocentesis and found out he didn't have it.

I know what you mean. I had high risk for downs with dc1 and I'm thrilled to be low risk for dc2 but I still feel my result of one in 2093 is quite high considering my age, normal nuchal etc. I keep reading about others 1/25000 etc too but I'm trying not to think about it
