Period cramps

Has anyone suffered from severe period cramps in early pregnancy? Im pretty sure I've had these in previous pregnancies but don't remember them being so intense.. Been in bed all day hugging my quilt as not felt like moving, i reckon I'm about 5-6wks

Could just be strong implantation cramps.
I had a day or two with bad cramps very early on. Then They eased off an all was fine.
I think the intensity varies in each pregnancy x
