Hi everyone, I am almost 11 weeks now with my first baby and i don't know if it is mostly bloat but it is getting pretty obvious there is something going on 😊

I can't help thinking it's still so early to be showing as such and considering I have been very sick and barely keeping anything down I definitely didn't think I would have a bump of any description so early!

So my question really is, how quick did you feel you were 'showing'?

Definitely popped out at 16 weeks and looked more baby than fat lol

SlB09 · 22/03/2017 11:19

Im 14 weeks and just look like I need a good poo or fart 😜

ButterflyFree · 22/03/2017 11:21

I've only just started showing at 21 weeks (first baby), but it's still not clear just by looking at me that it's a human baby rather than just a food baby 😂

stepmum88 · 22/03/2017 11:23

cazzy- I'm 13+2 and was about to ask the same question! When do you change into maternity clothes?? Don't look preggers ATM but things are starting to get tighter.....

Catherinebee85 · 22/03/2017 11:27

I'm 19 weeks and still just look fat. The fact I'm a size 16-18 anyway isn't helping. I'm an hourglass shape normally and my waist is slowly disappearing so as you can imagine, I look and feel super attractive lol x

cazzy80 · 22/03/2017 11:39

I definitely look more fat than pregnant lol!

Even my brother-in-law commented this morning that my bump was coming along and I was like are you joking the baby is still tiny! But I definitely do think it's becoming more noticeable and also because I am still not telling many people I am maybe just conscious of them thinking I have let myself go 😂

I'm still wearing my own clothes but I definitely can see me being huge by the end of this Confused

I'm 24 weeks and started showing at about 20+ weeks! Even now if I'm not wearing tight clothes you can barely tell I'm nearly 6 months pregnant Sad and this is my second pregnancy! Hate to say it though, I felt like I was showing at about 10/11 weeks (especially seen as its second pregnancy) but turned out to be just bloating!!!

TipTop333 · 22/03/2017 12:58

I looked pregnant at 12 weeks. The rumours were going round work.

fruityb · 22/03/2017 13:00

I looked bloated at my 12 week scan and was wearing maternity jeans at that point as everything was getting uncomfortable. They were on the tightest setting. My scan put me at 14 weeks and I probably had a visible bump by about 16. I was definitely showing by my 20 week scan.

DinosaurFanGirl · 22/03/2017 13:01

10 wks I made the switch to maternity clothes and felt I was showing. Although looking back at the photo diary I've kept I was tiny at 10 wks compared to now at 22 haha

cazzy80 · 22/03/2017 13:07

Yeah I think I am going to be the same and look back thinking it was definitely all bloat lol!

I am just glad to be experiencing it all this time as I had 2 very early miscarriages last year so I guess I am patiently waiting to feel pregnant and not fat 😊 but so far so good and I won't be complaining.

It's nice to hear all your stories x

To myself - 9 weeks/10 weeks. To others around 17 weeks but a friend did admit if I hadn't said she would have just thought it was a chubby belly. Now at 23 weeks I've been told it looks very clear that it's a bump. It's my first. Smile

Bloopbleep · 22/03/2017 13:31

I'm 25 weeks and only look pregnant in tight tops. My bump is only just starting to show and this is no2

stepmum88 · 22/03/2017 14:17

cazzy80- looks like we have a few weeks to go of just "feeling & looking fat " then..... think I'm going to start carrying around chocolate bars at work to stop rumours........ 😀

cazzy80 · 22/03/2017 15:21

Sounds like a good plan to me stepmum88 lol!

I am only 8+6 and I have had 2 ladies at work tell me how noticeable my bump is already Blush This is my 1st aswell!!!!!!

cazzy80 · 22/03/2017 16:02

It's mad isn't it confused, I'm the only girl in my workplace and I definitely think everyone has twigged! I'm normally a 12-14 but my tops just aren't fitting properly and I'm convinced I definitely look bigger than normal but I assumed it was all in my head so I'm glad there are others who feel the same. I just wish it was more from pregnancy and not weight gain as such 😂

kel1493 · 22/03/2017 16:07

I started showing properly at 5 months- could tell I was pregnant. I didn't wear maternity clothes- I just git the next size up in everyday clothes when I was around 7 months, as didn't need it before then

GemSingleton · 22/03/2017 16:24

I was exactly the same. At 11 weeks you could tell something was happening. At my 13 week scan I definitely had a little bump going on. But I was only a size 6 so any little bit of weight or bloat showed straight away! X

theclick · 22/03/2017 18:40

I watch myself like a hawk as my changing body has been one of the hardest things to deal with. I'm sure no one else can tell but I'm 9 weeks and can.

JanuaryJuniper · 22/03/2017 19:35

I'm 8+3 it's my third and it's SUPER obvious I swear I look much further along than I am. However, I have a bit of a gut anyway so it just seems that everything has immediately bloated out and "relaxed" into a bump form without much persuasion Hmm
I can see so many people at work giving my stomach the sneaky eye and I'm finding it really embarrassing!

Foncy87 · 22/03/2017 21:39

I could see a bump at around 11 weeks but I just looked bloated to everyone else. People started to notice my bump at 17 weeks and by 19 weeks I had a very obvious bump Smile!its nice when you finally have a definite bump rather than just looking chubby lol.

fabulous01 · 22/03/2017 21:42

Some people didn't realise I was pregnant just before I went on mat leave. And I had 2 on board...
I bought a couple of maternity work trousers and tops and went baggy tops and leggings for weekends. My big problem was shoes as my ankles swelled up
Enjoy though. It goes so quickly

cazzy80 · 22/03/2017 22:50

Thanks for all your replies, I guess with it being my first everything is unknown and I suppose we are all different on the same journey! I'm looking forward to seeing how things go over the next few weeks :)

Good luck to you all too Flowers x
