40+6 and have reached a new low. I have completely lost the ability to spell. Today, words I have misspelled include 'work', 'mobile' and MY OWN NAME. Twice. I have an English degree. Blush

How long after having the baby does your brain start coming back please?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm a teacher and I've had six years olds correcting me recently Blush. Goodness knows what state I'll be in by my due date!

I only just managed to stop myself paying £400 off a credit account this morning instead of the £40 that was needed. It would have left me a bit strapped for cash this month to say the least Shock

When I went to register my 6 week old I gave my maiden name as my surname. I've been married and using my husbands name for 5 years. Thankfully I realised before it became permanent on the birth certificate.

Has Brian struck anyone else again?

He really is a pain in the arse! He visited me twice this morning and made me look like a right numpty! Grin

I think it's far worse after you've had the baby! I struggled to remember DH's DOB when asked by the HV, couldn't remember my NI number which has been ingrained in my memory for the last 24 years and I totally forgot most of my online passwords. I suppose surviving on zero sleep doesn't help poor old Brian!

I keep loosing words. The other day I called pheasants 'monkeys' much to the amusement of my husband.
By the end of the day I frequently have to describe items as I can't think what they are called ie last night we had 'little green balls, like carrot' with our chicken.

This morning Brian made me tell the midwives my old phone number to pass on to the maternal assessment unit for a call back. It hasn't been my number for over a year. Luckily DH was there to correct me.
