My nephew looked like a gerbil on his 7 week scan. My sister was quite concerned.

I'm going to say 'boy' based on zero science (and I don't know what a 'nub' even is). Purely because the baby looks a bit different from my DD's scan at a similar gestation (not weird or anything, just DD had a particularly round head).

Hi, it's too early to use the nub theory at 11 weeks as they all look like girls at this stage (not even sure if I can see a nub anyway on yours, sorry). Are you having another scan in the next few weeks? Best time is 13-14 weeks.

I'd say girl based on the skull... I am almost always wrong! same as you though... so impatient and so excited to find out! X

Ah, now i'm currently pg with ds3. I took my 20 week scan photo into work as there's a few of us all pregnant at the same time, and we compared scans...all knew the sex as past 20 weeks. Out of 5 of us (serious pregnancy virus going around!) we're having two boys and three girls and we all noticed that the with the girls, the head was more of a rounded shape and the boys heads looked a bit flatter. I pulled out my scan pics of ds1 and ds2 too and they too had a flatter looking head.

Based on this anecdotal evidence, I also say boy op.

apparently girl nubs tend to be forked more often than boy nubs... so maybe a girl?
