Hey ladies I am 2 months pp and i am on the mini pill however last week i forgot to take my pill. Only noticed the next day...however I did continue to take it the next day and everyday after that. Anyway this morning i bled for a lil bit. Only noticed the blood when i wiped so I thought i started my period and put a pad on however nothing the whole day! Should i be worried? I am not trying to get pregnant right now. Starting to get nervous. Only came off my period 2 weeks ago so its too soon to get my period. I am hoping its my body/ period regulating itself.

The mini pill can cause all sorts of random bleeding! I would take a test to be on the safe side but your body is still settling down after giving birth.

The mini pill for me caused a 4 month bleed and I had to come off it. So it could be just that all settling down.

Do a test to be sure but I've had some random bleeding since going back on the mini pill pp. It took about 6 months for the bleeding to completely stop when I first started taking it so I wouldn't worry about the odd bit of blood.

did you take extra precautions for 48 hours after the missed pill?

I never had 'periods' when on the minipill but would get occasional, very random bleeding. Often not a lot.

Thanks guys i do hope do is just random bleeding. I didn't know about the 48hr precautions and it wasn't explained to me by my doctor. When can i test? When my period is due or before that?
