I've read on my appointment letter for my 20 week scan that they do not disclose the gender of the baby... I would be attending The Ulster Hospital in Dundonald. I know the 20 week scan isn't to find out the gender of my baby but I really really want to find out the gender and really upset that they don't tell you Sad has anyone actually asked the sonogropher performing the ultrasound what the gender is and has been told???

babybond belfast can do genderscan for £39 if they don't

The Ulster & Lagan valley won't tell you.

We got a 4D scan done with DC1 on the Lisburn road (Google 4D scan Belfast) was only £150. We didn't do it to find out the sex but they can tell you.

Lagan valley happily told me (and had signs up saying they would) a few months ago. Ulster probably will too, they are less strict than they were a couple of years back. Heard plenty of people say they found out at the ulster, despite what it said on their letter.

You can find out in Altnagelvin. According to the signs you do have to ask them at the very start of your appointment otherwise they will take it that you don't want to know. I didn't find out though so don't know what it's like in practice.

Going to see how it goes at my 20 week scan at the Ulster and iff they can't tell me the gender for what ever reason I will book with JustGender. Its my first pregnancy and I'm just so excited about every little thing (finding out the gender being one of the main things!)
Thankyou for your responses!
