Does it matter if my 16week appointment is at 17 weeks?

Just wondering if anyone else had theirs late? Mine was booked when I was (we thought) 8 weeks and they then moved me forward a week at dating scan so I'll actually be 17+2 at the next appointment.

Is it worth me ringing them to move it forward or will it not matter? From what I've seen its only a quick chat, blood test results and a wee sample so presuming timing doesn't matter too much?

I don't think it makes too much of a difference, in my blue notes the appointments are all written out as 23-25 weeks appointment for example so you have some leeway I think

All are designed to have some leeway as they can be busy.

Mine was at 17+5 as I was on holiday at 16+5 (midwife clinic is once a week).

No doesn't matter everyone's pregnancy is different to like mine I'm 38 weeks on Sunday but I see my midwife weekly in Thursdays

SuperUnicorn · 08/12/2016 15:34

I don't think it can made much difference as in my area the midwife is only about one day a fortnight anyway, so if she is already full you have to wait another two weeks to see her.
