When to tell DC about pregnancy

How and at what stage of pregnancy did you tell your DC that you were expecting? How old were your DC? Did it go smoothly?

Also, would it make a difference if it was the first child of a new relationship and DC were from previous relationships?

OH and I have DC aged 7 and under and teens. I'm 7 weeks pregnant. We have an early scan booked for 9 weeks (we will wait until after that at least) due to a previous mc. For extra info, we are getting married when I will hopefully be just over 13 weeks (awful timing...) and haven't decided if we will announce the pregnancy before then. I don't completely trust the younger ones not to blurt it out on an exciting day. Eldest also has a big mouth after a drink. Hmm

I'm almost definitely overthinking it, but I had a bit of an nauseous episode in a food hall today (too many god awful smells) and had to send my teen in - I felt caught out but I don't know if she suspected.
