Did your second baby arrive much earlier than your first?

I'm 21 wks with DD1. DS1 was born at 41 weeks exactly. Nice normal pregnancy and 7 lb 8oz at birth.
So far my pregnancy has been trouble free again. The plan is that my mum will take DS1 when I go into labour although she's just booked a holiday returning when I'll be 39 weeks (erm thanks mum). Now I'm worried that I'll need to find alternative childcare just in case.
Just wondering what your experiences were with your second compared with your first?

A bit but not loads. Ds1 was 42+1 and DS2 was 41+5

No the first came on his due date and the second was a week late. The third was two days early and the fourth was another due date baby.

No,my second was a week later. That is, however, irrelevant to your dilemma, any baby may well come early, you need to make a pre-39 weeks back up childcare plan just in case.

DS1 I was induced for, DS2 first decided he was going to make an appearance at 29 weeks - though the hospital was great and he held on for another 10 weeks!

Yep. 4 weeks earlier! I'm currently 35w with DC3 and the in laws have buggered off on holiday leaving us to house and dog sit.

DC2 was the most gestated baby in our family for several generations.

No, dc1 came 1 week early, dc2 had to have some encouragement 12 days after due date.

I'm carrying longer with subsequent pregnancies! Am pregnant with dd4, due on the 9th december so we'll see how long I carry this time.
