1st Pregnancy - 5 weeks 4 days - bleeding for a week - Advice

Hi,

This is my first pregnancy, I'm circa 5 weeks 4 days
I've had bleeding for almost a whole week now, it started out as really dark brown, today it's tinged red and getting lighter.
It's more than spotting I would say, it's quite a bit when I wipe and then there are streaks on a liner. It's nowhere near a full period though.. and I have no pain at all.. My EPU have booked me in for a scan in 5 days as I should be over 6 weeks then. I'm so nervous and really want to know if anybody else has experienced this and not miscarried?

Hi i had a couple of bleeds during early pregnancy the first at just over 6 weeks and the second just before 12 weeks. It was really bad for the first day, bright red and lots of it, then reduced to very dark brown on wiping and i had next to no pain. Everything was fine on both scans that i had and i'm now 22 weeks. I remember feeling the way you must be now, it's scary and i know it's difficult but try to stay positive that you will have a good outcome.

I've been spotting since 4 weeks. On and off. Pinkish or brownish but with a bit of heavier bright red a week ago. I had my early scan yesterday and the baby was fine, strong beating heart. I'm only 7 +4 but I'm hoping everything will continue OK (spotting still hasn't stopped though).

My spotting lasted for weeks after my bleed, it made me really anxious but everything with baby was always fine. The nurse i saw at the early pregnancy unit said it was very common and that 99% of the cases they see turn out fine.

I had a positive pregnancy test then started spotting which got heavier over a fees days, then turned into full on bleeding like a period.

DD clung on in there and is 3 weeks old and perfect
