Hi,

am 36 weeks today. This morning, I was sitting on the floor negotiating with DS1 (who is 3) about getting dressed to go to nursery.

At a particular tense phase of negotiations, he came up behind me to put his hands round my shoulder and give me a hug / squeeze (in a friendly way).

Lo and behold, I felt my breakfast coming up and had to run to the toilet. Cue a 10 minute relay between toilet and sink as each time I thought I was 'done', more came up...

Anyone else had that? It really felt like a "mechanical" problem - we'd only just finished breakfast and I guess my stomach is far higher up than it usually is...

Am feeling fine now... have just wolfed down two croissants at work :-)

Poor you that doesn't sound nice at all. It does sound like the pressure of the 'hug' forced the food out!

Definitley have another crossiant Smile

I think the stomach does get pushed up. I'm 33w and the feeling of fullness feels like it's in my chest instead of my stomach.

I second having more croissants!
