Just wondering if people got any symptoms within the first couple of weeks that you didn't think of at the time but now realise that they were signs?

Yup - had definite periods of nausea before I'd even missed a period.

Autumnsunshinebaby · 17/08/2016 17:58

Yes, sickness here before I did a pregnancy test.

Christinedonna · 17/08/2016 18:04

My back was KILLING ME, my boobs were sore and grew two sizes in a week and I had cramps and nausea before I'd even missed my period! I'm now 40+6 so she's really been clinging on since the second she got in there and certainly making her presence known

Luciferbox · 17/08/2016 18:09

Yep, nausea started almost straight away. It prompted me to take an early pregnancy test.

SkyLucy · 17/08/2016 18:16

Yes, was at work on a Wednesday and suddenly overcome by dizziness and nausea. Period was due three days later, had a positive pg test on the Monday.

bonzo77 · 17/08/2016 18:19

Yes. With DS2 I had proper morning sickness from 11 dpo, severe heart burn and massive amounts of discharge. I was bbt charting so was certain on my dates.

bonzo77 · 17/08/2016 18:20

Sorry, meant to add I knew this was me being pregnant and got a faint BFP that afternoon.

FaithAscending · 17/08/2016 18:22

Yes. I'd been ridiculously tired and grumpy when AF was due and two days before I was expecting AF I was sick (due to strong chemical smells at work). I tested, must have been 13dpo and got a BFP.

CharminglyGawky · 17/08/2016 18:26

Yep I tested about 4 days before my period was due because for the 3-4 days before that it felt like someone had blown up my boobs with a bike pump and they were really sore!

thecatsarecrazy · 17/08/2016 18:27

Everything smelt really strong.

smiles01 · 17/08/2016 21:01

I had nausea from 3+5. Got a positive on the same day.

EreniTheFrog · 18/08/2016 08:56

For me, the absence of AF has always been accompanied by huge bloating - up to 5lbs weight gain and the inability to eat more than tiny amounts. Besides that, though, I didn't get anything until the morning sickness began at around 5 weeks.

choccybiscuit · 18/08/2016 09:19

Headache and sore bbs.

UnicornPee · 18/08/2016 09:24

Extreme tiredness at 3 weeks onwards

CwtchyQ · 18/08/2016 09:27

Boobs were awful. I never get breast pain in the run up to AF so was a bit Hmm

Cried more those two weeks than I have in a long time!

adjsavedmylife · 18/08/2016 09:30

Really tired, also really antisocial!

SquedgieBeckenheim · 18/08/2016 09:32

Looking back I had heartburn as early as 4dpo! I only ever get heartburn in pregnancy. Ate at a dodgy airport Mexican restaurant and had heartburn. Thought it was a one off. Less than 2 weeks later I got a BFP!

worriedinwonderland · 18/08/2016 09:41

I had really sore boobs the morning after sex, my boobs never get sore and we rarely had sex.

Titchypanda · 18/08/2016 12:59

Yeah within a week I felt terrible. First trimester was hard for me, but first couple of months were the worst for nausea and exhaustion. Plus really painful nipples and abdominal cramps. Currently 17w and most of these things have disappeared or gotten lesser.

Canters15 · 18/08/2016 13:05

I was painting my nails at 9dpo and the smell of the varnish made me retch. Then had loads of cramping over the next few days, but put it down to having had a smear also at 9dpo. Very strong bfp at 13dpo!

BossyOfficerFlossie · 18/08/2016 13:24

Exhausted, bit bloated, and everything smelling very strong, plus totally going off coffee, all by about 8dpo. Occasional fainting too with the second one. Oh the joy!

Diddlydokey · 18/08/2016 13:25

My boobs grew, a lot. Extremely knackered.

I didn't get sickness until 6 weeks or so but it stayed for ages.

Trixieceratops · 18/08/2016 13:27

Amazing sense of smell.

Slightly unusual one- wanted to down icecubes- it was January!

Backhometothenorth · 18/08/2016 13:38

Yes burst into tears at MIL's house over some random and not really upsetting comment Confused. Not like me at all- found out I was pregnant a week later...

Kitkatmonster · 18/08/2016 13:44

Weeing all the time, getting up in the early hours to wee. Not even late at that point.
