10 days late, symptoms but negative tests??

Hey im now 10 days late for my period which is not normal. Yesterday i wiped and there was a little red dot of blood so put a pad on hoping that was my period starting as ive been moody and been getting cramping. Which can also be a symptom of pregnancy, along with me being tired, having nausea and not being able to stand the look or smell of mince (which was the reason i found out i was pregnant when it was my first) i read up that the blood could have been implantation bleeding and that before that you cant test positive on a test till 3 days after. But clear blue tests said you can test up to a week before your period is due.. which would then be over 2 weeks ago? Ive taken a test today and its come back negative. Im so confused with the way it works. When should i take a test if my period still doesnt show?

Give it another few days and test again. It could be that you ovulated late. All the best.

Ive been getting cramps and clear mucus stuff, been thinking its my period but still nothing. Is this ovulating? Never really noticed before.

What you're experiencing now is not ovulation if it's in the time your period is expected. You ovulate around about halfway through your cycle usually.

The best way to get an accurate result is to use a First Response pink dye test, use your first pee of the day as it is the most concentrated and will have the most HCG in. If you continue to get negatives and no period, wait a couple days and test again in the same way as the HCG can take time to build up sometimes. If still negatives and no period then it might be an idea to call your GP :)

I expected my period 11 days ago and they only last 4 days. Never been late before, always had one every month but didnt the whole of july. Im still a bit crampy and always feel like ive started my period but when im wiping its just clear stuff. I tried onen of the early detection tests from superdrug yesterday but was during the day. For my first child i didnt do all the tests. I went to the drs 3 weeks after getting no period after coming off the pill and their test came back neg so they send me for a scan and i was a couple of weeks pregnant so dont even know whens best to take a test. This is about the only time a female begs for her period to come lol

Given your history of pregnancy tests not detecting pregnancy, maybe you should see your GP?

Now 15 days late, still getting cramps and clear discharge but bfn and no sign of period. ive got a appointment with the gp on the 11th. Thought id have started by now :(

Is there an update for this thread? Currently 9 days late myself and bfns
