Travel (UK) at 36 weeks with placenta Preavia

I'm due to go to a family wedding at 36+3 weeks, UK, but approx an hour from closest hospital. I have a low placenta which puts me at higher risk of complications. I'm due a rescan and consultant appointment a couple days before the wedding, and if nothing has changed I will be scheduled a c-section at 37 weeks.

I'm torn, not sure what to do. If I have to cancel would rather do it sooner rather than later!

I wouldn't risk it, no way. Tbh I probably wouldn't even without the PP, because you're so close to term.

Agree you are very close to term so I wouldn't risk it either( even if they find the placenta has moved). My waters started leaking at 36 and 3 (baby wasn't engaged and no contractions) with my first pregnancy, luckily I was 10 mins from my hospital after Iv antibiotics for the first 24 hours with total bed rest, followed by 2 inductions I finally delivered naturally at 36 and 5.

My pregnancy was very uneventful so had no indications this would occur. I would be hesitant in going...

See my last pregnancy I went two weeks overdue so I didn't think it would be a problem, hadn't really thought through the implications of low placenta as everyone reassured us it would move out of the way by now.

Will be very gutted to miss this wedding :(
