Hi.

I have a 8 month old daughter who was born by emcs. So now I am having the most insane thing happening to me. I keep feeling baby movements, the usual fluttering and popping down low in pelvis. It not just like a movement here or there it's every day and at night it's happens constantly in bed. Last night my partner actually felt it on the outside of my tummy. Now here's the thing pregnancy tests are all negative this has been happening for about 5 days now and is getting more frequent as the days go on. Is it possible that I am pregnant and tests aren't picking it up? Or could I be going insane and this is a phantom pregnancy it's really baffling me as I'm definitely feeling movement that's exactly like a baby's first movements and this has only just started

Any advice is appreciated or if anyone can suggest what I should do. I don't want to go to my gp as she's going to think I'm nuts
Thanks

I had this after the birth of my second baby. Went on sporadically for months. Thinks it's quite common. I most definitely was not pregnant!

DailyFailAteMyFish · 03/07/2016 10:21

It's gas ;)

Mummyneedinganswers · 03/07/2016 10:26

See I thought it was gas too to start off with but this has only started in past few days and it's so frequent and able to feel it from outside of tummy. I do sound nuts but I really don't think it's gas

I still get this and my babies are 4 and 7.

Afreshstartplease · 03/07/2016 10:30

I had this after my last baby! I was not pregnant

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 03/07/2016 10:31

I had this after my son was born it's really common and the general consensus is its wind

PotteringAlong · 03/07/2016 10:34

I agree. Weird and really really common.

Kenworthington · 03/07/2016 10:36

I get this too and my youngest is 11!!

ArmfulOfRoses · 03/07/2016 10:37

I still get this and my youngest is 9.
Can sometimes feel "kicks" and everything.

It's happened since I had my first so it's either weird gas/digestion or I'll be in the Guinness book of records for the longest pregnancy ever.

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/07/2016 10:39

Yeah I had these phantom movements after DS was born, I remember during one particularly tired nappy change telling him to not kick the baby Grin

Haggisfish · 03/07/2016 10:55

Although if there is even the faintest chance you may be gp or unprotected sex, I would go to gp. I think I'm right that after about three months the levels of hormone detected by pg test drop.

Haggisfish · 03/07/2016 10:56

Pregnant ie that is supposed to be!

jellycat1 · 03/07/2016 14:15

Me too. Had it after both.

Eminado · 03/07/2016 14:21

I had an emcs and I had this too. For ages. I googled and googled and googled and finally settled with the thought that things weren't put back where they used to be after the cs Smile.

I wasn't pregnant.
