Am Confused ladies can anyone help?

Hi everyone I went for my first scan today and am 8 weeks and 4 days when did I conceive? Thankyou ladies

About 2 weeks after your last period! So about 6weeks ago. But if you're trying to work out who the father is then only a DNA test will tell you.

You conceived around 6 weeks and 4 days ago. There's a margin of error of around 5 days either way.

Fair enough, and I didn't mean to cause offence, it's just often the reason for these threads!

When it says your 4 weeks pregnant you have only actually been pregnant for 2 I think

Does this mean i conceived on the 5 of may? me and my partner are trying to work out when the business was done i can't believe how quickly i have gotten pregant after so many problems x

We have counted back 6 weeks and 4 to 5 days and we are meant to conceived the 5th on May but we are un sure if this is correct

If you were having sex regularly around then, you will never know which time it happened unfortunately!

I was just looking to see as i wondered when it happened that is all as its nice to know when you conceived

The dates may change at your 12 week scan. I had an early scan and was dated at 8 weeks three days, which would have meant a conception date of 8th, but the 12 week scan changed to a possible conception date of the 4th, which was before we did the deed. Sperm can live up to seven days, so conception can happen within that time. Plus you won't know for definite when you ovulated. So it is better to think of it as we conceived that week rather than day :) we picked the date the contraceptive failed us, happy accident :D
