Eeeeek reality has set in today my babies will literally be 11 months and 3 weeks apart! We had our 20 week scan today and have found our we are expecting a little girl in October. I'm so nervous and excited! My little man will need me so much still but so much of my attention will be needed for my new little bundle. Does anyone else have babies this close in age?xxFlowers

Wow. So it is manageable then lol. I have a 7 and 10 year old girls too! It's taken a long time to accept this pregnancy but finally half way through the reality has hit me eeeeeeek Shock

Myself and my sister are only 11 months apart - my mother basically said it was like twins apart from the fact that one of us would go into a phase and the other one would be finishing. Mine aren't close in age but it probably would have been easier than adding one now (3 yrs difference).

4 under 5 here.

The way I saw it was all bottles and nappy changing was done at the same time.

My granny had 3 born within 22 months. (No twins) and there were 4 older ones at that point too. 2 more came after the 3 so 9 in total.

So yes, its manageable Grin

This was quite common when I was at school. There were a few siblings that were between just over 9 months and less than 12 months in my year. It was a catholic school and it was 30 years ago though!

Mine will be 12/13 months apart. Friends who have been in similar situations have said its hard work but pays off when they are around 2/3.

Good luck op Smile

I have 2 (now 3 & 4) 13 months apart, of course you'll manage you'll have to, but I wouldn't worry at all.... My girls were in exactly the same routine and the closeness in age worked really well for us. Now I find they are much harder than they were when babies, but it's worth it to hear them play together as they're the bestest of friends.

Although one thing about them being babies is I don't really remember a lot, I think life was so busy it passed by in a big blur.....Currently pregnant with No 4 and looking forward to enjoying my baby days!
