Ahhhh I have haemorrhoids! Any advice?!

So this is my second pregnancy, I'm 32 weeks and today I have suddenly developed really painful haemorrhoids! Haven't particularly been straining or anything, they have just appeared!

Never had them before. I am really in pain. Any advice?!

Get some ointment. Not Anusol, that stuff is crap. Get Germaloids, it numbs your bum hole area and shrinks the bastards. I'm in the same boat!

You can get it over the counter.

Is it definitely okay to use in pregnancy?

Germoloids specifically says it's fine in pregnancy, get the pessaries much easier then trying to squirt ointment up there.

Germaloids works. Normal problem in pregnancy apparently because of progesterone and pressure of growing uterus. I had 'em too, nasty buggers!
