13+5 and cramping

I had my 12 week scan last week and everything was great. I had some cramping and spotting at just under 9 weeks and was given a scan at EPU. Everything ended up fine. I've had period like cramps for most of today although no bleeding or any other symptoms. Just looking for advice as to whether this is normal at this stage of pregnancy e.g. stretching etc or whether it is something more to be concerned about?

Thanks

I'm 12+6 today and having the same. I think things are really starting to stretch now, I'm finding it really helps if I don't have a tight waistband on. Lying on my back on the sofa at the moment with a tepid wheat pack on my upper tummy, even the littlest bit of warmth in the general vicinity feels very nice Smile

Aches and round ligament pain are pretty common throughout. There's a lot of stretching going on. But I didn't have cramping as such. If you're concerned though speak to 111 and they'll be able to make you an appointment so they can have a check on baby. Try not to worry, once you're through the 12 week mark and they've seen a heartbeat then chances are everything is absolutely fine and will stay absolutely fine.
