Sorry to be a pest, I have posted on in gender and only got one reply just wondered what the consensus was on my scan pic at 12+6? Thanks in advance for humouring me!

Definitely human anyway, 50/50 chance male or female sorry, in all honesty its impossible to tell at that gestation. Congrats

It looks forked and parallel with the spine which indicates girl. Try the ingender forum they have lots of examples. Congrats!

Thanks Bobby, had two replies on in gender also saying girl. I wish I knew what I was looking for, they all look the same to me!! I tried to compare with DS's 12 week scan and his looks the same to me

I'd say girl too. The nub (bright white line) is still in relation with spine and I see no stacking above it (which is usually indicative of a boy nub) but obviously sometimes the whole nub isn't imaged. But for 12+6 it's looking girly especially with the little fork at the end

Girl from me too, can definitely see forking and it looks less than 30 degrees.

We won't find out for 7 weeks but I'm definitely coming back to update.

I've no clue but I had 8 people saying girl to my 12 week scan and at 20 weeks we saw a wee willy being proudly flashed around...
It's really not an accurate science.

sock I'm not bothered either way. I have a DS and I'd be quite happy with another one. Equally happy with a girl. I'm just interested to see how it turns out.
