I have just had to call in sick for work I never call in so now I'm worried ill be in so much rouble.
I am a senior position so relied upon today but I just feel exhausted and weak and can't bring myself to work the 12 hour shift!
I'm 25 weeks can I get into trouble for calling in? I'm going to try and get a gp appointment today to see why I'm feeling so tired and nauseous again. Any advice welcome. Is feeling this way normal. Will I be in trouble? Sad

why would you be in trouble? are you in the UK? see the link below

No you won't be in trouble especially as it's pregnancy related so can't be used against you (see previous posters link ) have work done a risk assessment of any changes that might be needed to support you? As you get nearer due date you may find 12th shifts too much especially if you have a commute on top of that. Is there any flexibility? Hope gp is helpful

They just generally don't like people calling in sick. Which is understandable. I feel like I have called in sick now because I'm pregnant and tired but it feels so much worse than that 🙈

Just read this and found it helpful for anyone else in my position. Going to try and get some sleep now if the burning in my hips allows!

Burning in your hips sounds like pelvic girdle pain. Are you being treated for that? If not you need a physio referral asap from your midwife.

Hope you feel better soon.
