'Show' wondering how long it took for your labours to start?

I'm 41+2 and I have just had a show of mucus plug (mucus is such a lovely word) and just wondered on other peoples experiences after having a show how long it took for labour to start?..I'm booked in for an induction on Sunday but really hoping he comes naturally..

Mine was 24 hours or so after the show, had pains all the next day then waters went that night, dd born 36 hours after the show. Good luck!

With DC1 I had a show Friday lunchtime and he was born Saturday morning.
With DC2 I had a sweep then the show a couple hours later but it took her several days to put in an appearance!

I was exactly 1 week.
Just to give you a heads up you can keep losing your mucus plug, I lost mine 4 nights in a row.

With DS I went to the loo at 40+3, and had definite green-snot show. Didn't think much of it, it could still have been weeks, went to make a cup of tea and contractions started there and then!

Currently 39+1 and I'm sure I've had bits of a show over the last week or so. But nothing happening.

I had a show 5 days before my due date, which was 15 days before DD was born!
I woke up having contractions and had a bloody show. DD was born 26 hours later!

With DS1 I had a white show (it looked just like a golf ball!) at 39+2, went into labour on 39+5 in the end.

With DS2 I had a much more convincing bloody/snotty/gross show at 6pm at 39+4 and he arrived at 3am the next day.
