Advice on baby name

So I'm nearly 35 weeks pregnant with a little boy. He's my first and we took a while to conceive. I'm very excited but a little scared too.

Just wondered what everyone thinks of our chosen baby name. We're planning to call him Dexter- what do you think? Thanks in advance

I like it

I really like Dexter (mainly because I love the serial killer programme, 'Dexter') and I'm personally not bothered about how popular a name is, apart from within the people I know.

Makes me think about serial killers.

Murderer or sets up a laboratory.

I really like it. Was top of my list for current pregnancy but DH vetoed it.

Reminds me of Dexter's lab.

I have a Dexter! He absolutely loves Dexter's Lab and even had a 'Dexter's Lab' party a few years ago, the invites had his face superimposed on the characters body awesome name!

Was on husbands list but it's my mums maiden name so I vetoed it.

I like it. In fact, it's probably my favourite serial killer's name.

I like it. I don't think of serial killers, I think of the actor Dexter Fletcher or Dexter's Laboratory.

I really like it! My oh hates it so I wouldn't have used it though.

If you really like it, use it. We didn't discuss names with anyone just used what we liked.

I normally hate names with an 'X' in them (not sure why!) but Dexter is pretty cool. I have never ever met one either old or young, so it can't be that common.
