pregnant and have a worrying mole

I have a mole on my lower back. After finding out I am pregnant a few weeks ago (I'm around 8/9 weeks) it has become raised, red and sore. Iv been monitoring it incase I had caught it on something and it's now sore and scaly. I'm going to go to the doctors to get it checked out but can't get in till 15th. Anyone had anything like this happen to them? Really worried but extra worried with being pregnant.

I had a strange mole when pregnant that had to be removed - it was all fine in the end luckily. I did panic about it make a big fuss as I was quite worried - I managed to be seen quickly and had the removal rushed through too. I would keep calling for a cancellation if I was you - just to put your mind at rest.

My skin generally went odd in pregnancy. Ended up with a few skin tags, something I'd never had before. I think it's just hormonal but probably best to get it checked out anyway.

Both pregnancies have resulted in non harmful mole removal for me the dermatologist said its really very common for them to change side and shape but to get them checked as normal.

Im going for my stitches out this afternoon after they removed a scaly mile from my back at 31 weeks. I've not heard anything back and assume (touch wood!) I would have done by now. Dermatologist said it was common for moles to change in pregnancy but better to be safe so whipped it off. Try not to worry too much, but definately get it checked out

I had 2 moles taken off my chest because the grew in pregnancy and then would rub and bleed on my bra band.

Pretty common I think, but I had no probs getting both taken off quickly (and both were totally fine)

I had this with a mole on my neck. Got it checked and it was fine. Doctor suggested moles are more easily irritated during no pregnancy due to increased skin sensitivity.
