Double buggies with travel system? Oh god

So stressed trying to find one. I have a son and a daughter on way, son will be 19 months when baby girl is born.

Not fussed about brands or anything, just care about the practicality of it.

Ideally want one quite compact if possible.

Need one with a puschair for my son and then the regular travel system for my little girl. So the car seat attachment, carry cot and then the puschair.
Any brands or links too any?7

I have a bugabo donkey which is excellent.

I have 3, 3 and under so have carrycot or car seat for the 12 week old, pushchair attachment for 2 year old and 3 year old goes on buggy board with a seat attached.

I've had it from DS' birth - just used it in mono. It's a fantastic pram

It's a side by side, narrowest one on the market so great for getting in and out of shops but still comfortable for the little ones, has car seat attachment for maxi cosi car seat and carry cot option for when they're newborn. It's really easy to manoeuvre and practically speaking has a large shopping basket underneath for carrying bits and pieces. Can't rate it enough!

Have a look at the Uppababy Vista. The old surly has a rumble seat, but the new style has the ability to do two complete sets of everything!

I see a lady doing her school run with one everyday on my way home from work. It makes me want twins!!

Unless you want to push a tank, I'd ditch the car seat attachment and get a lie flat double buggy. The Phil and teds cocoon for newborns (which you can buy separately) seems to fit most buggies. We used an out and about nipper with an old Maclaren head rest and cosy toes. The newborn was very happy in it.

It just makes life so much easier to have a buggy you just fold and shove in the boot, especially when wrestling with a toddler.
Also, pushing a toddler, car seat and baby will be hard work!

If you get a good pusher - then pushing lots of kids in a pram is fine.

I also have a baby jogger GT double with buggy board which I really like but I find the donkey to be brilliantly light to push - better than the GT. I can push all children plus the basket filled with shopping and the changing bag clipped on with one hand on the donkey.

I'd go to John Lewis and try lots of prams out

I have an 18 month gap and didn't use a double Buggy. Baby in sling, toddler in pram if necessary, or if toddler wanted to walk, I used a little life backpack and baby could go in pram. My toddler was an excellent walker though.

I had a Graco double buggy with the back part being a travel system so I could attach the car seat. When baby grew up it was a good size for them both up sit in too. I have 14 month gap. It was heavy but worth it, and it fit in my smallish car boot. And it was only £120!
