Hi there, I am TTC and have just had ICSI treatment, short protocol as I have PCOS. I had the embryo transfer yesterday (two embryos put back as I am 40) and was told seven were frozen.

I have nine days to wait to test but wanted to ask what you did that might help? I remember when trying to conceive I ate pineapple and brazil nuts after ovulation, but dont know where that stage is with ICSI/IVF?

I am going for an acupuncture session tomorrow and feel fine. Please share any advice. I really cant wait to hold my own baby !

I am pregnant following ICSI and I did nothing at all except not drink. I went to work and carried on as usual as I decided that if anything extra would really help, the clinic would have told me to do it. It was rubbish waiting to test though - intensely stressful.
Good luck with your endeavours and I hope you get a positive result.

Im pregnant from ICSI unfortunately there isn't much you can do apart from carry on as usual and sleep and eat well
All I can say is try not to get stressed trust me I know how hard that is
Good luck

I'm currently 19weeks after IVF (though some eggs were fertilised by ICSI to be on the safe side) Is this your first cycle? There's really nothing you can do I don't think. Take it steady but equally no need for bed rest etc unless you've been specifically advised to. Eat well, drink lots of water and keep your protein up especially if you got a lot of eggs. You need to avoid boue cheese etc and obviously alcohol and minimise caffeine. Take folic acid. Seem to remember there's something about eating pineapple but TBH I never did. Wish you all the best.

I'm not pg any longer (dd is just 2) but she was an ICSI baby. She was a frozen embryo & I was so convinced it wasn't going to work that I carried on completely as normal. I even forgot that I'd had the transfer as I just saw it as a hurdle to be crossed before going onto our next round (we'd had disappointments before then). I was so surprised when I got a bfp!
I think you can try everything you can to be careful & to encourage implantation, but at the end of the day if it's going to work it will Smile
Wishing you lots of luck - please come back and update if you can!

I am 22 weeks pregnant after ICSI. I did nothing different really. I had already cut down to two cups of tea and don't drink alcohol anyway. I carried on eating chocolate and icecream! I don't think there's much you can do. If it's going to happen it will. I also kept going to work. I had two embryos transferred and I am 33.

Thank you for your replies. I don't think this is going to bode well for me, I have had fresh blood yesterday evening and tonight. Right after the transfer, I think this must be my body rejecting the embryos.

Thank you. I called and spoke to a different nurse today who told me to increase my progesterone pessaries from 2 to 3 a day. They will call me on Monday but I'm pretty sure this is all too late.

Please dont loose hope doesn't mean it hasnt worked
I had a huge bleed after just under a week after transfer
It was one of the embryos (they think) coming away
The other survived and Im 34 weeks pregnant
I know its so hard but try and stay positive it might not be the end
Good luck
