Hi Girls...just wondering if any of you know what you are having and how r u feeling? I was really really sick with my 2 girls but don't know what i'm having this time roung. It's more nausea than sickness. I'm 16 weeks this week and suffering from really bad nausea. I have been told that girls make you more sick than boys - IS THIS TRUE?

Was true for me.

DD - felt awful, vomited lots up to about 14 weeks.

DS - Felt not too bad, still felt nauseous but was never actually sick.

Got a 21 week scan tomorrow, but DH and I have decided we don't want to know the sex, only if it's OK! Personally I don't think there is any truth in the girl=morning sickness, boy=no morning sickness theory as I didn't have any sickness with my first pregnancy (a girl)! The shape of your bump has nothing to do with it either, it's more to do with how the baby is lying and the shape of your pelvis. As for the ring test, that's a load of cobblers too, so I've heard. There is a Chinese gender predictor though, on www.babycentre.co.uk if you're interested (sorry, couldn't get the link thing to work). It takes the month and year of conception and is meant to be 99.9% accurate. This predicted a boy for me and coicidentially my DH thinks it will be a boy (he rightly predicted a girl first time round)! Sometimes though you just have to wait and see ...
