long sleeved vests

When are these useful? Can I use them in place of a short sleeved vest or are they t-shirts?

You do get leggings with feet, we have a couple of pairs.

Baby is actually 3 weeks old, he's just not worn his long sleeve vests, spends his time in short sleeved ones and baby grows, though suddenly thought today that maybe he's a little chilly so put one on him this evening under his sleep suit and he's slept much better! So thanks guys. 2 birds, one stone!

I have them and my DD wears them under long sleeve tops in winter and at nighta under her babygrow as her room can get a little chilly the. Also good under dresses and with pyjama bottoms when older

We also found that DD hss slept better since we popped a long sleeved vest on under tha babygrow

I found those grow bag recommendations to be too cold. They recommend baby room temp at 16-18 degrees which is freezing to me in just a long sleeve vest and bag.

Our flat is always 21+ degrees at night, and mine wore short sleeve vests, baby grow and sleeping bag at night. Any less and woke up freezing.

Only ever used long sleeves vests under dungarees.

Handy for day time naps- take off bottoms/babygro and pop into grobag

I've never undressed my two for naps, they always just get put in their cot in their clothes and a blanket on top.

I used them under dungarees or sleeveless dresses in winter

My DD is 20 months and we use them loads. Under long and short sleeves tops (means short sleeved tops can be used all year round, which at the rate they grow out of clothes makes me feel less spendthrift!). She has them under her pyjamas at night. Under dungarees. Also great for under jumpers - means no riding up.

Artandco I'm exactly the same! DDs room was/is never less than 20 so think that's why I never had a need for them x

I use them exclusively! Find them so handy for under T shirts and dungarees and all sorts. Never buy short ones.

Dd was October born and had lots of these, teamed up with leggings with feet. Perfect for around the house with a little cardi over if it was a bit chilly. Then if we were going out I'd just pop a pinafore or little dress over the top.

I use them under pjs on colder nights as grobags don't cover arms.

PS leggings with feet fieldfare- best invention ever- i found it impossible to get them over 9 mths, so annoying as DS1 didnt start walking until he was 15 mths. Would have used them up until then definitely! Socks are a pain!!

We use them all the time! He either wears one with trousers, wears one with a t-shirt over the top, wears it to bed either on its own or with pj bottoms or underneath a pj top on chilly nights.

On exceptionally cold days he wears one with a jumper. I layer up when I'm cold so I do the same for him
