So, I just found out newborn and 0-3 months are totally different Confused dopey haha.
So which are we supposed to buy?
What are you guys buying or what did you buy for your previous babies? I doubt I'll have a particularly small baby, as everybody in my family in the past has had large or largish average babies.

a tip from me regarding gifts - if you get loads of them in one size (usually the 0-3) and have too much then they can always be swapped for next size up, so don't unpack and detag them for washing!

My mum's bought me a load of 'tiny baby' clothes thinking it was a brand rather than for actual tiny babies - DH is S E Asian and I'm pretty short so I think there's a chance i'll get a few weeks out of them.

I've mainly bought stuff in 0-3 months and maybe nothing in newborn size so poor bump may end up with only stuff that's a little too big or small.

I'll have a proper sort out nearer the time. Need jumpers and hats and stuff...my shopping thus far has been 'ooh that's a nice pattern babygrow!'

It's very rare for a baby to go straight into 0-3, 10lb+ babies maybe. So you definitely need newborn, but they tend to grow out of it quickly, anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months. I'd advise just getting a really special newborn sleep suit for first photos, and a nice pack and a value pack of sleepsuits and some plain short sleeved vests. Visitors tend to buy 3-6 as they assume you have loads of 0-3.
