Sorry but it sucks. I hate not being able to have a drink, not eat certain foods, being fat while everyone else is wearing sexy new outfits to the office party.

Was reading in a magazine how "at least you can be smug when you don't have a hangover" and "you can wind your friends up by telling them about their drunken antics". WTF?!! I spent the whole xmas party watching everyon getting merry and hating them for it. Add to that eating overcooked steak and not being able to have the prawn cocktail starter and i am feling well and truly pissed off!

Was 37 weeks pregnant last christmas and will be 10 weeks this christmas. Not into alcohol right now, but what's wrong with smoked salmon in scrambled egg? If it's hot then it's ok right? Actually if it's not ok then tough!

Glad for those of you who love being pregnant.

I don't.

I want to be a Mum, and it's something that has to be gone through first.

Sad I feel this way, but I do.

Not going to be guilted into pretending I feel differently!

It is my second pregnant Christmas - and am abou the same way along as last time round, 6/7 months. I feel a lot more sorry for you girls who are in the early stages feeling sick and having to think up excuses for refusing certain food and drink! I'm not even missing alcohol now and am very glad it is winter so my horrible pregnancy varicose veins are all nicely covered up!

I gave birth three days before last christmas and I'm 28 weeks preg this xmas. No more preg christmases for me. next christmas I shall enjoy all the drink I want

Theres no reason to feel guilty, not everyone enjoys it, and you already have enough ammo to make the child feel guilty for the rest of its life.

Well i survived Christmas! TBH Christmas day was better than all the build up, parties etc so wasn't too bad. Just new year to get through now, not sure whether i'm gonna bother going to the party yet, might just make an excuse!
