No they aren't and they should have a warning saying not to use if you're pregnant.

Scarydinosaurs · 29/12/2015 12:47

Definitely do not use them- you can hit the water with some serious force. I would stay well away.

jamesdeandaydream · 29/12/2015 12:48

Of course they aren't safe.

99percentchocolate · 29/12/2015 12:49

No way - the speed and force of the water could mirror the impact of a car crash for a pregnant woman.

YouBastardSockBalls · 29/12/2015 12:59

Is this a joke?

scaredmum2be · 29/12/2015 13:28

No it wasn't a joke thanks.
I did think afterwards I had seen the sign saying no pregnant women before.
I'm sorry I asked a stupid question and I feel like a right idiot now but please don't be horrible to me. I've been through enough all ready.

I hate to sound like my mum but the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. So don't feel as! Ignore the rude replies and have a nice swim. Smile

sepa · 29/12/2015 14:24

To be honest, I'm not sure I would have even thought about it!
I agree with AnnaT45 (unless your asking if your pregnant and not POAS then all questions shouldn't really be a silly one)

YouBastardSockBalls · 29/12/2015 14:44

Sorry, didn't want to make you feel bad.

CarShare · 29/12/2015 15:38

Same thought crossed my mind when I took my niece swimming at about 20 weeks- I wondered if I could go on the big water slide for a brief moment then decided best not to. It's easy to have a brain lapse when there's so much advice to consider/pregnancy hormones/sleep depravation confusing matters. Enjoy your swim though!

Kaytee1987 · 29/12/2015 15:39

Better to ask the question than just to go ahead and do it Grin

Champagneformyrealfriends · 29/12/2015 22:43

Don't feel bad for asking it's better to check if you're not sure! To be fair me and DH went away when I was 10w and I very nearly suggested the water park! Xx

zippyswife · 29/12/2015 22:56

Bloody hell. Give the girl a break! Don't feel bad for asking a question! That's what this place is here for. Enjoy your swim
