Can't seem to find one. They're all super thick, winter ones. Anyone found a good one for their hospital bag? Ideally from Amazon?

I bought this and it arrived yesterday www.clothingattesco.com/womens-nightwear/f+f-striped-maternity-dressing-gown/invt/cc512297&bklist=icat,4,shop,catgwomens,maternity-shop

I know it's not amazon, but it works for me! It's just lightweight jersey. I also bought the pyjamas.

Not sure what kind of material you like but this is light and will fold down to nothing.

I'd prefer a jersey one but I want a black one due to the blood!

LumpySpaceCow · 20/11/2015 13:19

I got one last year from mothercare - it was a maternity one. Perfect for hospital. I will be using it this time and bet they will have something similar this year

Impatientwino · 20/11/2015 13:35

Mother care have a black lightweight one in their maternity range currently

teamrigby · 20/11/2015 13:41

I bought this one from ebay as couldn't find any lightweight dark ones in the shops.

Its only £14.99 so doesn't matter if it gets ruined...

I'm thinking of something like this;

www.amazon.co.uk/Ladies-Boyfriend-Sleeve-Length-Cardigans/dp/B00MAMDPYY/ref=sr_1_1?s=clothing&ie=UTF8&qid=1448031452&sr=1-1&keywords=long+cardigan

A long black cardi; long enough to cover the bum and any post-birth stains, and also something I could then use on a lazy day at home with baby and not looking quite like I haven't bothered getting dressed! Plus it's cheap enough to not worry too much about keeping it nice.

TreeSparrow · 20/11/2015 15:01

Thanks all. Perfect!

Primark have a couple just now, but they're more like a pyjama cardigan Jersey thing. I just went for that. X

bugoven · 21/11/2015 07:20

This was one thing missing from my hospital bag last time when I got caught ahort at 36 weeks! I went for a men's one in the end. Plain, black, jersey material from Amazon. It's perfect and only £9.99.

Oysterbabe · 21/11/2015 07:38

I got a Primark yesterday for £8.
It's bright pink but will have to do!

Picnic2223 · 21/11/2015 08:29

I found a black cotton one in peacocks for about £10.

putthePuffindown · 21/11/2015 09:28

Asda are still selling them, I'd almost given up hope of finding one till I found them last week

Kaytee1987 · 21/11/2015 12:07

For my wedding morning I bought thin waffle dressing gowns from primark for me and my bridesmaids however that was in the summer. X

This one is nice. It's thin so more modesty covering than warmth but that's what you want in there. You can wear after also as just a normal dressing gown

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 21/11/2015 13:28

My husband bought me a nice thin one last year for Christmas from fatface. I imagine they've got the same sort in this year
