Bit strange but how much urine did u leak ?

I'm 35+6 and have been leaking all day knickers soaking but it's smells like urine but can't possibly be leaking this much pee can I? I don't want to call MAU as the minute I say it smells like pee they won't see me and if I say it's not they will know as soon as I go in. Is it possible to constantly leak urine like all the time where I feel it run out of me even before and after I have peed ?

I would put a maternity pad on, and if you soak through it - call the midwife and tell her you think your waters have broken.

Fresh urine doesn't actually smell like pee, only when it's been left a little while and amniotic fluid also doesn't smell.

It sounds to me like your waters MAY have broken, so it's best to get checked out anyway as once they have gone you have a risk of infection.

Call them! You may need to be examined.

Sounds to me like your waters may have gone, unless it's normal for you to leak urine.

I have put a pad on and I'm going to see how it is in an hour. Dp freaking out as usual.

I do leak urine but not in this amount it's normally a dribble here or there throughout the day and I never feel it come out it just sort of does where I can actually feel this leaking out even when sitting

Really confused my trousers are soaking and so is my dressing gown but my pad is dry :/ this fluid has to be coming from somewhere

I think you should go and get checked out, you are NOT wasting their time, it's what they are there for!

Daft story but when I was being induced I convinced the mw my waters had broken.. Actually I'd just pissed myself. Classy!
It will take them two ticks to check if it's wee or waters.

I called MAU they said as it smells of urine it's probably not my waters but to continue wearing pad and if it hasn't stopped in another hour I've to call back.

KatyN I'm just so confused as I can feel it running out but it's quite alot gradually not sure if baby is maybe lieing on bladder pushing everything out or if I'm going mad lol

What was the result of this? We all want to know! :)

Excess cervical mucus apparently went in for my ctg monitoring today and they checked the fluid leaking and it's alot of watery mucus cervix is still closed. So unfortunately mucus and small leaks of pee. In GD clinic tomorrow though original plan to induce at 37 weeks and I'm 36 weeks today so hoping they set a date for next week so I can mentally prepare. Although I have a feeling I will be left to 38 weeks
