Brown spotting at 39 weeks

I think this is normal but thought I'd post and see what others think. So I had some pink/brown/a little red tinged mucus earlier, and have been having brown spotting thought out the afternoon and cramping. From google it seems to say that this is the cervix thinning out and maybe a big of my plug?

I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for the baby to get here!

Sounds like your plan. If it is mucousy it is completely normal :)

Yup, sounds like you're losing your plug. Nothing to worry about unless you get reduced movement. It just means you're getting close to delivery (and close could mean anything from 2 days to 2 weeks!!)
