Previous c-section scar uncomfortable in early pregnancy

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm 6 weeks pg with no 3, had 2 previous sections. For the last week or so I've been aware of a slight burning sensation around my old section scar. It doesn't particularly hurt but I am conscious of it.

I'm guessing that it's probably just the scar tissue stretching as things are growing and moving in there but just wondering whether anyone else has had this?

Not from c-sections so perhaps not of any comfort to you, but I do find previous surgical scars in the same area painful during pregnancy (particularly 1st and 2nd trimester).

I've had this but it started a little later on at 11ish weeks. Now 13 weeks and it's still on and off. Midwife told me it's really common as sometimes there can be adhesions around the scarring and it all gets tugged at.

Thanks both - it's reassuring to hear it's not just me. I haven't got my booking in appointment for a couple of weeks but will mention it then if it's still an issue.

I had this too, it got a bit better when the bump emerged a bit later on, but hurt lots in the last few weeks of pregnancy
