Hi, I usually have a 33 to 35 day cycle and last week on my 28th day I noticed whilst going to the toilet that I had a pink look on the tissue then for about 3 days on and off I had brown blood. I am currently on my 39th day and have been getting sore nipples for a week now and still no period. I do have polycystic ovaries and in the past have had late periods. I also have had brown blood before about 3 years ago. Help??!! What do you think?

The only way you're going to know is to do a pregnancy test. I hope you get the results you want.

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 11:52

Thanks, yeah I know, I just can't afford to pay out for.it this early when it might be signs of my period

You can get tests in poundland. They work perfectly well, the result of my poundland test is currently sticking Mickey Mouse stickers on my legs.

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 11:57

Oh right. Lol

Pregnancy tests are actually two for £1 in places like Poundland or you can get 20 or so for a couple of quid online.

If you've had unprotected sex, of course you could be pregnant. I'm afraid nobody can tell you either way. Your choices are to pee on a stick or give it 8 months and see what pops up.

Best of luck Grin I really hope you get the result you're hoping for.

It's just very frustrating as I really want to go gym today, do you think it will be ok?

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 18/10/2015 11:59

Of course you can go to the gym!

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 12:00

I was worried thinking I might cause problems if I was pregnant

You can carry on as normal. It's never a good idea to suddenly start exercising during pregnancy if you've never worked out before but you can just carry on as normal if the gym's a regular thing for you. You won't cause a problem for the baby by exercising when pregnant. Any caution you exercise centres mostly around looking after yourself. You might have a lower blood pressure, higher core temp, greater blood volume etc when pregnant so you might find you need to work out differently but all that means is that you just listen to your body the same as you did before pregnancy.

Go to the gym and enjoy it.

sizethree · 18/10/2015 14:40

If you can afford a gym membership I'm surprised you can't afford a pregnancy test! Grin
Honestly, you know it but strangers on the o telnet can not tell you if you're pregnant or not.

Ragwort · 18/10/2015 15:06

Honestly Hmm - of course you can go the gym, and as size says, if you can afford to go the gym you can surely afford a pregnancy test.

Why do you need to know this instance whether you are pregnant or not, I didn't know for 10 weeks and carried on going to the gym, drinking, etc etc until I did find out.

This must be a wind up.

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 19:17

Have you got a problem Ragwort???!!!!!

OP posts:
Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 19:19

The gym is done through Direct Debit. Please think before you judge!!!!!

This is a chat forum, it's here for advice, toexpress your feelings, and for others to be helpful to other mums, NOT to be judgemental and harsh.
If you want to bitch, please do it elsewhere!!!

Rag- wth how does that make it a wind up!?¿

Mummy- hope you get the result you want

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 19:32

Thank you Gingerlady123. :)

I just find it hard to believe that a grown woman writes a very graphic post all about bodily fluids, asking strangers on the internet whether or not she might be pregnant and worrying about going to the gym and not being able to find a pound for a pregnancy test.

Ha ha - if you don't want harsh replies don't use Mumsnet.

Anyway, hope you get the answer you want.

Gingerlady123 · 18/10/2015 20:02

It's hardly graphic she said she had a bit of blood lol.
It's a normal question to ask about exercise.

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 20:33

You are very judgemental Ragwort!!!

It's people like you who are going to give Mumsnet a bad name and stop people from using this site freely without being worried who will be "harsh."

it doesnt cost a thing to be nice!!

AnnieOnAMapleLeaf · 18/10/2015 20:49

Buy a cheap test OP. You won't settle until you know for sure. Hope you get the result you want.

DizzyMerry · 18/10/2015 21:26

Ignore the unhelpful 'advice' mummy. Not everyone knows that tests can be bought from poundland. Oh and worrying about being pregnant and carrying on with other activities is completely natural.

Buy the test mummy. Hope you get the result you want.

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 22:39

:)

Mummytime12345 · 18/10/2015 22:41

I will see what happens over the past few days and then carry out the test. Thank you for your support guys. :)
