Choose my girls middle name...

As title says.

Esme Lynn (sister lynn)
Esme Rose (we just like it)
Esme Laura (grandma)
Esme Odette (late grandma)
Esme Anna (mothers middle name and first initial of surname Ann+A)

I like Esme Laura and Esme Rose the best..Rose seems to be a common middle name, don't know if that would put you off

Oh my gosh Valentine is absolutely beautiful & original. I know a lot of little girls with Rose as a middle name which would personally put me off. I'm all for different names with meanings & I think Valentine is adorable Grin

I like Esme Valentine. So different :) my goddaughter has Rose as her middle name, I know a few with it.

Oh me too I LOVE Valentine. When I was younger and poppy wasn't popular I dreamed of having a little girl called Poppy Valentine!

Like James for a girl too

Thank you girls! I'm swaying Valebtibe but what puts me off is someone said recently that it was 'chavy'. I work with lawyers who screw their nose up to it!!

Anything but Rose to be honest, it's just very overused as a middle name. Valentine is fab. On the assumption that either Laura and Odette would show preference for one side of the family or the other, then maybe skip those? Although Esme Laura flows quite nicely.

Doesn't matter about chavvy really, it's a middle name. Maybe Valentina would be pretty instead?

Esme Valentine is really sweet actually. Would probably be what I'd go for.

I love Esme Odette as well - was my first choice before you posted about Valentine.

Thank you so much. I agree Rose is common and used a lot especially in my area now I've noticed, I just really like it. That said I'd prefer something not over used.

Thank you ladies for taking the time to reply. My husband is not keen on Valentine but has given me the nod to pick whatever I want given baby girl will have his family surname (and he's super laid back Wink )

Another vote for valentine here; all your choices are pretty but esme valentine has the nicest ring to it.

I'm a lawyer. Most lawyers have no taste. Ignore them!
