Wow I'm just impressed you can type at all!

macdat · 16/10/2015 00:05

Eeek! How exciting! Imagine, this time tomorrow you aren't going to be pregnant any more, you'll be doublebubble, mother of 2!

RJnomaaaaaargh · 16/10/2015 00:07

Ha I remember apologising to the staff when I was in labour with dd2 - I felt I was being short with them (I could only get brief sentences out over contractions) they thought that was really funny.

I need to go sleep but praying for a quick and easy night for you!

boobubsmum · 16/10/2015 00:16

Ooooh! Are you breathing? And bouncing? Make sure you're upright not laying down it'll help you progress! I didn't find the gas and air helped all that much in my first labour, made me very high in my second though, almost offered to tear the midwifes limb from limb when they had to move me to delivery ward without it!

bluey11 · 16/10/2015 00:24

How exciting, good luck double!! Just remember you get to meet your lovely little baby and every contraction brings that moment closer. You can totally do this and any pain will soon be forgotten. I type this as I'm sat feeding 36 hour old DD, I've honestly already forgotten the worst bits!

Joopy · 16/10/2015 00:32

How are you feeling? Are you having a home birth? I want to do that next time but DH isn't convinced.
How does it compare to your first labour?

Hi all. Congrats bluey and focus - well I managed to get to 7cm then because I am sssoooooo swollen and bubble is at an awkward angle (and has done a poo) and i have regressed back to 5cms It is looking very likely I'm going to have a c section. Quite excited ?? as I get to meet my naughty boy finally only 12 days overdue x

Hi double, wow go you!! Getting to 7cm with an awkwardly angled baby is amazing, you trooper! If baby needs a little help making his appearance then so be it, looking at the time of your post I wonder if he's already here...? Look forward to hearing from you again soon, good luck!

Doublebubblebubble · 16/10/2015 14:43

So so so so excited to announce that our beautiful son was born at 11:26 this morning - 12 days overdue - via emergency c section (well, planned emergency) weighing in at an almighty 10lb 1oz!!!! - he was a bit grumpy to start but is a very happy, hungry, handsome and most importantly healthy little boy. Hs looks so much like his daddy it is unreal he is currently feeding at the moment and I can't take a piccy as I've no hands free -(dh has gone to get dd from school - so excited to see her - have missed her like mad. We are sooooo happy. Anyway, got to go I've got a very cute (massive baby to attend too) thanks for all of the support through this pregnancy xx
