I'm 10 weeks pregnant with dc3. I've had horrendous nausea, dizziness, room spinning... It's been hell. Last night I had some mild cramps, woke up this morning and all symptoms have gone. I am so worried I've lost the baby. I've got an appointment at 3 at the EPU to be checked.

Both previous pregnancies I've had severe nausea right up to about 14/15 weeks.

Now I'm sat here panicking. I had a bleed early on, they did a scan and baby was there, heart beating away. I'm just hoping that baby is ok

Just wishing you luck - could be a bug you've picked up, or lowered blood pressure maybe? Mine went through the floor a lot in the first trimester and I had a lot of dizzy/nauseous spells.

Have a lie down, make sure you're well hydrated and get some good into you.

Food... Not good!

You are doing the sensible thing getting checked out. I really hope everything goes well this afternoon. I think lots of people experience changes in their pregnancy symptoms.

Can you keep busy until it is time for your appointment?

Good luck

Sorry to hear you're feeling so worried. Please don't try and second guess what's going on - things will be clearer this afternoon after your appointment.
In my limited experience of pregnancy the things you worry about are often not the things you need to; and the things you don't see coming are the ones which need to be worried about!
Thinking of you and hoping it goes OK. Keep us updated.

Thanks for the replies! I'm trying to keep busy and DH is bringing home some nice lunch.

I think because this is so unlike my previous two pregnancies, I'm panicking. I do suffer from anxiety when pregnant which my midwife knows and is really understanding!

I'll keep you updated. Just want time to speed up a bit now and hoping DH can get off work to come, otherwise I'll have to take both DC with me too!

YAY! So happy for you :)
Really great news. No go home and de-stress (as much as someone with 2 kids can!) :)

Zamaz · 15/10/2015 15:34

*Now go home

channingswife · 15/10/2015 15:38

Thanks!!

DH didn't make the scan but he got there just in time to pick us up so I didn't have to do the buses again.

I'm a few days further on than I thought too!
