Anyone used a wedge pillow?

I'm only 21 weeks but having difficulty sleeping on my sides due to stomach issues (wake up feeling really sick). Sleeping on my back all night makes my kidneys hurt. I wonder if propping myself more upright might help?

Has anyone used a wedge pillow or can offer any suggestions?

Thanks!

hi, I am 18 weeks and started using this pillow few weeks back:
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IFW0YRE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

It's not amazing quality but for the money good enough, I am sure there are better (but much more expensive) pillows out there. I put part between my legs and rest my right arm on the other end-it helps me to get comfortable and stable being on the side. The inside corner also helps create a little support for the side of the growing belly.

Up until recently I also woke up feeling sick in the mornings-I am not sure this can be related to your sleeping position or simply the pregnancy nausea-for me it helped to get up as soon as I woke up and not to have a lie in-I found it got worse laying in bed awake-but everyone is different of course.

This pillow also creates comfortable cradle for sitting up/being in semi-reclined position in the bed when I put it on top of two normal pillows so it could help you try sleeping a bit more propped up.

Good luck

Thanks happy! I'm waking up in the night with the nausea that eases when I lie on my back, so it's definitely position-related. I actually have one of those v pillows but usually sink down the gap in the middle when I use it to prop me up. I'll try squishing pillows in the middle.

I got a small wedge and I liked it so much and it made such a difference that I got another one to put behind me. Now using it for tummy time for DS so it's still in daily use.
