Hey everyone.

My last period started 7th September, since having DC2 in April my periods have been every 32 days. DC2 is fully breast fed.

This test was done this morning with FMU. I thought I could see a hint of a squinter so I inverted it.

Is it possible that that could be an evaporation line?? Or is that a positive?

I do want another baby, and am keen to have them close together and have been happy to get pregnant again... But these last ten days or so my DC2 has been particularly tough to deal with and I'd been questioning whether I wanted another one so soon!

If this is a pregnancy I will be keeping it and I will love it regardless, it's just a bit shocking

TIA to anyone who takes the time to read this

Are you going to attach a pic?

Tornupinside · 04/10/2015 09:43

Sorry for some reason the pic didn't post!

I've tried twice but they won't attach!

Just added them again and viewed a previous and they're not attaching! Fuck sake

I've attached then to every message I've posted Angry

I don't think so. You might just be seeing the shadow of where the 'dip stick' part of the test attached to the test part

Vixxfacee · 04/10/2015 09:59

Why does the pic look so strange?

horsewalksintoabar · 04/10/2015 10:00

Can't see but those strips are notorious for showing evap lines. Get a first response and save yourself the angst of faffing around uploading pics to a bunch of strangers. Hmm

flanjabelle · 04/10/2015 10:01

What does it look like without inverting the colours?

Bambooshoots14 · 04/10/2015 10:02

Nice response horse, have you never wanted a second opinion on something?

I can't see a second line (apart from the join)

Tootsiepops · 04/10/2015 10:05

If your last period was 7 Sept, and cycle since April has been 32 days, then you're not late. Why are you testing?

I don't trust those tests one bit. If you do think there's a chance, I agree with horse - get a first response.

CuppaSarah · 04/10/2015 10:10

Those tests gave me coloured evaps all the time. Save yourself the heartache and don't use them unless you are already late. I got my bfp four days early with a first response, they're expensive but better than getting your hopes up with those evil tests.

Fingers crossed you get your bfp this cycle. Obviously even if this test doesn't have a line you are far from out.

MagpieCursedTea · 04/10/2015 10:14

It looks more like the bend in the strip rather than a line. How come you're testing so early? No judgment from me, I'm a POAS addict but it does seem to cause unnecessary stress.

Tornupinside · 04/10/2015 10:15

Oddsocks is right, I cut the end off to check and it was where the dipstick part met.

Vixxface it's been inverted, I used an app that detects pink dye!

Horse I went through the faff of uploading to a load of strangers to help save me some angst.

I know I shouldn't be testing early, just feeling a bit paranoid about this one!

I'm glad it's been cleared up that it was the dipstick join line!

Feeling very stupid!

Sorry Vix forgot to add, I swear I can see a small line without the pic inverting, but when trying to take a photo it's impossible to capture it!

Magpie I'm testing early because I'm not sure how I feel about this pregnancy. I wouldn't terminate but I think the idea of another DC so soon would just take some getting used to!

But you have another thread going about the same thing. I just think you're obsessing a bit. First response will save you the angst. Just saying because it's true. These pics are hard to see so we can't give you the straight answer you need. I'm being honest. Sorry. Also those strip tests can be funky. They can take much longer to show a BFP and they can also be 'evaporation line' happy. I just think, save yourself the grief. Pop into Boots. Pardon me if I seem 'strong' or harsh. I just think you're adding unnecessary angst to your day. Sorry.

Vixxfacee · 04/10/2015 12:21

Under the light is can see something but I would have thought it would be more in the middle. Can you test again tomorrow with a frer?
