I am looking to attend the baby and toddler show next week.

Has anybody been to these shows? Are they worth attending?

Hi Shoegal,

I went to one of these last week with my partner. For us it was good as we are first time expectant parents and had no hands on experience of buggies, car seats, cots etc. It was great for looking at all the different options in details and having the people explain/demo how they fold/fit etc. We ended up buying a buggy/carry cot/ car seat combination set. It was £200 off and all accessories included for free.

The furniture all seemed to be every expensive so we didnt buy anything in that line.

The smaller items all seems rather gimicky and not things that practical.

So if looking for buggies I would def recommend it.

I second butterflygirl, we only found the babyshow useful when it came to buying our travel system. There were far fewer brands than I expected when I went last year (bluewater show) so we ended spending far more than we wanted. But we saved around £200 on the travel system we had in the end so not all bad.
It is on the pricey side and some of the stalls are gimmicky, but it's great for ideas and learning of new products/preparing for your baby's arrival.
Have fun!
