Since the 12 week scan I've been encouraging DH to talk to my bump each evening. This is DC1, I'm currently 24+2 and last night was getting some very strong kicks.
DH took it upon himself to 'defend' me from DC by picking up the teddy I bought for DC and using it to attack my bump with a series of martial art moves. He is a black belt himself, and was being technically proficient, but I feel the Bruce Lee noises were a bit much Hmm
(Disclaimer: this was totally harmless and just meant to make me laugh)
What have your DH/DPs done with your bump that has made you smile?

That made me smile!

A friends partner turned to me other day and said "you might have a Willy inside you". Like he'd only just realised where bit babies come from!

After watching inside out my DH made goofy monkey noises at my bump.....makes you wonder why we have kids!

Awww that's sweet.

I've been trying to encourage my dh to talk to the bump, but he just sounds awkward! It's a shame because the baby definitely responds to his voice (kicks, movement etc).

I've been getting him to read to me instead as the baby will still hear him.

He does occasionally kiss the bump, which is sweet.

Lovely story OP! Very sweet. My STBDH refers to the bump as my keg! He is so charming!!

On a sweet note, he does ask my permission every week to use our at home Doppler and I love the look on his face when he finds the heart beat every time!
