Congratulations Brunette28!

Sorry you're feeling sick. I'm the same, so joining you for a moan. 15 weeks and it's not going away. Feels like it's been going on forever!

Hope it lifts for you, and you start blooming soon Flowers

I'm a couple of weeks behind (12 weeks) and holding out so much hope it passes in about a week. But then I've been enjoying the wretching since 3.5 weeks and vomming since 4+1 so having started early I feel like I've 'done my bit' now.

Sighing · 08/09/2015 20:50

Still nauseous at 15+. I should hand round the ginger biscuits/ crackers/ haribo.

Red193 · 08/09/2015 20:59

Hope you don't mind me joining. 11 weeks and still wrenching every day. Dr gave me tablets but they haven't helped. Went a week where I kept nothing down. It's been so hard especially as my work have been completed unsupportive in it all!

Brunette28 · 09/09/2015 08:58

I honestly feel like I can't take no more not enjoying my pregnancy at all Sad last night I felt worse then ever....is it true it gets the worse just before it finishes???? Pls god

I totally understand how you feel. I was happy for about 2 seconds when I got the BFP (and then promptly threw up).

I was also happy for a further ten minutes, when I was at my 12 scan.

Otherwise I have not enjoyed one single moment (aside to the generous 10 minutes and 2 seconds) and we haven't even celebrated yet Sad

It's supposed to peak at 8-10 weeks, but mine has just got steadily worse each week, and today (15+4) I am trying everything to keep the sick down today. It feels like groundhog day. Same sick, different day.

Hope hope hope it passes for all of us sooner rather than later!! x

I'll join you... 9+5 and feeling AWFUL... but i'm not holding out much help of it stopping, in my first pregnancy I felt this way EVERY DAY until DS came out... and then I ate about a year's worth of food in a day! :-)

Cnmorgan13 · 12/09/2015 12:54

Much hugs to you! I'm coming into my 16th week and it's only now that the nausea is easing. Flowers

brookeberry · 12/09/2015 13:20

I'm 9 + 1 and just started throwing up every morning. I literally have 'morning sickness'! To put a positive spin on it, I've have 3 mcs and this is my fourth pregnancy (please let this be our baby!) so as horrible as it is, I'm thinking it means I'm really really pregnant! xx

chopsface · 12/09/2015 21:32

Sorry luvvies I was nauseous from 5+3 until about 2 weeks ago... I'm now 26+5! But everyone is different and I hope you girls don't have to suffer too much longer as it's pretty shit isn't it?

thegoldenlemon · 12/09/2015 22:04

Sorry to say my nausea and vomiting did not remotely abate until about 23-24 weeks and I still have the odd random puke at bad smells. It is tough. I don't think this is the norm but it also didn't make me feel great when everyone was telling me it should have passed by now. I felt crabby with people who suggested ginger tea/eating ginger biscuits/snacking regularly blah blah. However, sickness bands did take the edge off for me, as did sucking ice cubes. Hopefully it will go soon or you'll find something that helps just a little bit. I also learned what came up easier and avoided what was especially horrid to throw up. Sorry that is really horrible!

thegoldenlemon · 12/09/2015 22:08

Oh and being tired made mine worse. As did crying. Try to rest more than you even think you need to if you can. It's felt NO different to me than a 20 weeks dose of norovirus and the hard thing is that for much of it you aren't telling people you're pregnant and when you do sickness is seen as just one of those things. I puked in a meeting and when I came back in people clapped Angry

Yes, yes, YES!!!!!!!!

If I went to the doctor complaining that I'd been so sick that last 4 months, lost weight, and was dealing with constant nausea, I would be undergoing all sorts to find out what this terrible illness was. But as I'm pregnant, oh well, that's just one of those symptoms.

And people ask why we have such large age gaps...

Sunshineandsilverbirch · 12/09/2015 22:20

I was sick between 6-10 times a day for the entire length of my pregnancy.

It didn't get easier but I did get used to it and stopped letting it bother me.

The vast majority of my friends were done with it by 17 weeks though.

Hang on in there - it's worth it in the end!

Skiptonlass · 13/09/2015 13:15

If it's getting to the point you're losing weight, unable to keep anything down etc then you need to see a doctor. some degree of sickness is normal but if it's getting severe, don't suffer, get help!

For most people, it does tail off after the first trimester, but for some of us it doesn't - I'm 35 weeks and still have bad sickness. The mere mention of ginger biscuits makes me homicidally angry ;)

MissEeerie · 14/09/2015 12:06

I'm 15+5 and still being sick! It actually feels like it's getting worse. Having a panic as was still being sick up until and during labour with my first! Sad

How sick are you being? Is there any chance you have hyperemesis? Have a look at the hyperemesis support thread and you'll get more information.
