Hi all
Just a quick one. I can't seem to find the answer on google, and couldnt get hold of my MW on Fri. I'm 23 weeks - do you know if I should be booking in to get these vaccinations soon?
Thanks again x

I think my.midwife brought up whooping cough at my 25 week appointment. Flu, she was not so worried by as was in the summer. If you'll be pg over winter then I think you can have flu jab in October? I believe it's only worth getting for the winter, though am happy to be told otherwise!!!

I'm asthmatic so get one anyway. It's just one of those things I do every year. Doesn't always stop me getting flu though Sad but I think it does offer protection and so is worth a slightly sore arm for an hour or two.

Oh, sorry, can't remember exactly when I had whooping cough jab. Think it was about 29 -30 weeks. I know there is an optimum time to have it though. Hopefully someone will come along who knows!

Practice nurse here - whooping cough vaccine between 28-38 weeks pregnant. Flu vaccination season not yet started, probably late Sept /early October.

Thanks so much CPtart - phew, haven't missed any windows! I'll make a note to book in for a few weeks time. Thanks again.
