hiya... iv joined this app to hopefully get some advice.

I'm 12 weeks with my second with a new partner. at first we was so happy in love the lot... The last few weeks have been awful. I can't bear to be near him, talk to him everything he does annoys me.
It's got that bad I'm thinking of asking him to move out as u feel I need my space and I font know if this sis just my hormones playing with me or weather iv generally just gone off my partner. has anyone else had this ?? and does it go away? ??
some days I feel I just want to run away and do it by myself... Sad Sad Sad Sad

I felt like this early on in my pregnancy. Started thinking DP and I would be better off apart and started pushing him away an awful lot. I've gotten over it now (rather late on in the pregnancy) and all I can say is thank god all my pushing didn't work and he's still here. I never doubted that I loved him but I didn't think it was enough, and it was all hormones!! Don't make any rash decisions Smile

Thank you for your reply. I'm hoping it all is hormonal. and I want this feeling to go. as I want to enjoy this as this is his 1st and I feel I'm making this whole experience for him miserable. He does nothing wrong it's all me and me being irritable all the time. keep taking each day as it comes and hoping I wake up one morning feeling happy Envy

Is it not your first then? I'm pregnant with 2nd and also a new partner. I didn't feel this way first time around. I would say, if there is nothing wrong with him as a man and partner and he hasn't suddenly started being horrible now you're pregnant the. It probably is just hormones. I knew I was being awful to my partner, pushing him away for no reason, but I didn't know if it would pass. I'm just really pleased it has passed now and I'm sure it will for you too! Good luck with everything Smile

Yeah, I felt like this in the first trimester. Everything OH did annoyed me and I hated being touched, but it passed. Don't make any rash decisions- hormones are a pain!

Yep, I felt the same in my first trimester too. Poor dh!

I've now gone the other way... feeling incredibly clingy and needing cuddles all the time!!!

ARV1981 · 27/08/2015 07:25

Oh, should say, 37 weeks now Grin

Cornberry · 27/08/2015 07:28

This is definitely a thing - happened to me too. It should pass :)

Completely normal! In my last pregnancy with dd I couldn't stand my dh and the smell of him could make me throw up (I had hg). Now I'm pregnant again and feel myself getting irritatated by him again.
