My father in law passed away recently and I am pregnant. My husband is coping quite well but seems to be very much "getting on with it" and isn't talking about his dad much now since the funeral is all done. I'm trying to find ways to bring up conversations about his dad to make it an open conversation and help him through his feelings, while also not pushing him or intentionally upsetting him.
So I had an idea about 3am this morning of him and I creating an "about my grandad" book for the baby with lots of photos, info, etc so he will grow up knowing about his grandad. I think it could work really well to help us talk about good times with his dad and because he will see it as something for baby rather than specifically for him
