Period like pains & discomfort down below

I'm 40+4 admitted in to hospital for induction this morning, had pessary put in at 1:30 & since about 3ish I've had discomfort down below. But since about 5 ive had period like pains & also lower back pain.

?????

Presumably something's happening but tbh I had similar after an internal to check head position and nothing came of the pains. I went into labour few days later.
