oh no, that's horrid, so far along in pregnancy too

beansprout · 10/05/2004 14:30

That is sad, poor CCA

Piffleoffagus · 10/05/2004 14:31

makes you feel lucky... not so sure about condemning Gwynnie, the press hate her as she is media hater anti paparazzi so her words do get turned, I have actually met her (well sat behind her in a restaurant pre Chris Martin) she is softy spoken quiet, thoughtful, funny and a very kind person from what I heard, very serene, I doubt she would say anything anti working mums, more like she is choosing to stay at home a) becuase she is lucky enough to have that luxury and b) her mum did it and it worked for them.
why do I care? the bitch stole my MAN!
LOL

lazyeye · 10/05/2004 14:34

Well, 'suppose article I read was in Daily Mail or Express, can't remember which, so should defo take with large pinch of salt. I have liked her as well, so was a bit surpirised, but it did sound rather like she was saying all mums...........anyway, bears no relation to my life so don't give a stuff what she thinks really.

Agree re Chris Martin, quite tasty is dishevelled kinda way....something attractive about a man who can write lyrics. Like Thom Yorke and I even lust after Neil Young........

beansprout · 10/05/2004 14:38

Am happy to hear that she may have been misrepresented by our scummy press. She has always struck me just a tad more together than that, so was surprised.

So, how are they going to deal with Jessie "Kat" Wallace being pregnant?!!

katzguk · 10/05/2004 14:43

darren day and susanne shaw are expecting there first baby, due in decemeber

BadHair · 10/05/2004 14:45

The way I read Gwynnie's article (admittedly quickly and with one eye on the telly) was that she thought film star mums should spend more time with their kids rather than doing back to back movies. I don't think she was slagging of ordinary working mothers. I kind of agree as if I had a film star bankroll I'd be at home too.
Her husband does nothing for me though, makes me shudder.

beansprout · 10/05/2004 14:52

Is Susanne Shaw the one that used to be in Hear'say?

Who does it for you BadHair?

I'm a Kevin Spacey kind of gal. All that stuff in the other park the other week? It's because I had to announce my preg to him and tell him to leave me alone. Poor man. Still have a soft spot for him though.

Piffleoffagus · 10/05/2004 14:52

nooo katzguk... really she is pregnant?
That is a bit worrying LOL what if he gets as bored with a child as he does with his women?

piglit · 10/05/2004 15:55

Darren Day and Suzanne Shaw having a baby? Now that's what I call a seriously restricted gene pool. Miaow.

beansprout · 10/05/2004 15:56

Piglit - you took the words out of my mouth!
How are you feeling?

piglit · 10/05/2004 16:01

Much better thanks Beansprout. The pain seems to have gone so I'll guess I'll be back to work tomorrow. Maybe...

Oh, someone on This Morning said that Charlie Brooks (Janine from 'Enders) is 2 months pg. I felt really sorry for her that her news is out so early. Mond you, I haven't really helped by posting it on MN, have I?

LipstickMum · 10/05/2004 16:13

I also heard that Charlie Brooks is pregnant, on radio 1's breakfast show... she just ran the marathon, no sickness or fatigue yet I am guessing!

LipstickMum · 10/05/2004 16:15

yeah, 2 months is early for the news to be out. Let's stop talking about it. shhhhhh!

karen01 · 10/05/2004 16:17

Charlie brooks denied rumours that she was pregnant when interviewed briefly at the Soap awards but this could be that she is only two months gone. she did however confirm that she has just got engaged.

beansprout · 10/05/2004 16:36

Blimey - Janine/Charlie too! Was that her being written out on Friday, or is there more to come?
I mean, will it affect her EE career or will we just not see her in panto at Scunthorpe this year?

(Actually beansprout, making a horrible comment and then putting a winking emoticon after it, doesn't actually make it any better. Ahem).

Glad you are feeling better.

highlander · 10/05/2004 19:38

Lazyeye, I have to bring you up on Chris Martin
He's dishevelled, but you KNOW he's the sort of guy that would wear the same boxers for 4 days in a row. Combine that with Gwynnie's weird diet and all those yoga poses - pheeeeeeeew

NomDePlume · 10/05/2004 19:43

Beansprout, Charlie is leaving Easties soon anyway !

bunny2 · 10/05/2004 19:52

Chris Martin is def a dirty underpants sort. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than go with him. Yuk.

Moomin · 10/05/2004 19:55

beansprout - I think you're barking up the wrong tree with the lovely Kevin. I don't think we're his type ('we' as in WOMANkind).
And, yes, Gwynneth has been misquoted, it was film star mums she was talking about. Said if she carried on doing back to back films she'd come back and the baby would be a toddler.

beansprout · 10/05/2004 19:59

I bet Mr Martin isn't that scuzzy, I mean he wouldn't keep Gwynnie's attention if he was, surely? Who was she with before? Was it Brad "how old??!!" Pitt?

beansprout · 10/05/2004 19:59

Moomin - Rats!! No wonder he wasn't the one that got me pregnant!!!

bunny2 · 10/05/2004 20:08

Moomin is right, what do you think Mr Spacey was up to, cruising Hampstead Heath in the middle of the night?

beansprout · 10/05/2004 20:32

I thought it was Hyde Park and that he was taking his dog for a walk?
My god, I'll believe anything that man tells me....

highlander · 10/05/2004 22:38

Crikey, Kevin Spacey gay ?! I thought he was married. Oh I'm just not keeping up......
